Example #187 that Long-Term Faculty Members are Angry and Bitchy

Ok, there must be something about career teaching that turns people into angry bitches. I've only been doing this for a year and a half and already I'm angry and spiteful. And sometimes bitchy. And I question the intelligence of my students and wonder how they ever got this far. (Students who have found this, and I pray that you haven't, you know who you are).

Anyway, my student who called me after class told me that he had another final at the same time. I did not find this shocking because I have the special session time because my class doesn't start until Wed. Several other students had the same problem, but because their teachers are understanding and acknowledge that they have scantron tests that can be administered by monkeys, they've given the students another time to take the test. It's not like I wouldn't let me students take their final at a different time either, but they're doing presentations. In groups. You can't really make that up. Anyway, I called said computer science teacher and told her about the student's dilemna.
